- כּוֹמְסָה, כּוֹמְסִיf., pl. כּוֹמְסוֹת, (כָּמַס) כּוֹמְסָאוֹת sheaves put at the bottom of a stack as foundation, contrad. to כּוֹבְעָה. Peah V, 8; Y. ib. V, end, 19a, expl. מן לרע (with ref. to Deut. 32:34).
